What do we feed our dogs?

Over the years, we have tried many different dog foods which I will not mention here. But the one food that has always been consistent, keeps the dogs looking their best with shiny, healthy coats, maintains good energy levels and provides all the ingredients needed for a healthy German Shepherd is...Royal Canin German Shepherd Formula 24.

German Shepherds have very sensitive digestive systems which can lead to soft stools and mal-absorption of the nutrients contained in their food.

Rice as the main starch source has been combined with Chicken, Soy Isolate and Egg in an extremely highly digestible diet. In addition, Beet Pulp, a fiber source and Mannan Oligosaccharides, yeast extracts that favor balanced intestinal flora, may help to reduce the risks of diarrhea.

There is NO CORN or CORN GLUTEN in Royal Canin German Shepherd Formula 24.

German Shepherd Puppy Food:

We prefer and recommend Sensible Choice by Royal Canin for puppies under 4 months of age. At 4 months of age your puppy should be switched over to Royal Canin German Shepherd Formula 24 (shown above).

Large breed puppies are carnivorous and need extra energy to keep up with the special demands of growth and development.  High protein from chicken and chicken meal provides optimal energy levels without the excess calories that can come from too much fat.  Sensible Choice Chicken Meal & Rice Formula Large Breed Puppy Food contains 32% PROTEIN, and only 14% fat to help slow growth while supporting muscle development.

NO CORN OR CORN GLUTEN ADDED.
